“Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted.” (Psalm 127:1 NLT) Prayer is vital to the effective ongoing ministry of MMM… your prayers are important! Pray for the work of the Alliance throughout the world.
Do you want to know how to pray more specifically? The National Directors of each of our Member Centres would be very encouraged to receive your requests for information to help you pray for them and the work of MMM. Please contact the relevant office to subscribe to a newsletter, prayer publication or other information.
Prayer groups meet regularly facilitated by various Member Centres to pray for the ministry of MMM. For enquiries about dates and times of prayer meetings, please contact your local MMM Centre.
If you have a trade or office skills, or are simply a handy person with time to spare, we can provide a way for you to use your skills and energy to further the Kingdom of God…right here on earth.
Whether you’re looking for a full time commitment, a part-time pastime or a short-term project, you can get involved with MMM.
Our people are our most important asset! People aspiring to work with MMM are those who are sensing God’s call on their lives. They will have tested their passion and desire (to work with MMM) by submitting to the prayerful discernment and wisdom of trusted people. They will come to MMM commended by a supporting church community in which they are active members. Usually they bring trade or some kind of administration skills to the team and help us ensure we’re effective in achieving our aims. Depending on the Member Centre’s unique arrangements, they will either live in their own home, on the MMM base or, if travelling from project to project in a mobile home.
Volunteers are essential to the work of MMM. You might be full-time—either self-funded or supported by a partnership team drawn from your local church and other interested people. Or, you might be part-time helping with a range of tasks on various projects.
On the road again! Mobile teams are a part of Member Centres such as Australia and New Zealand. People find friendship, fellowship and fun as part of a Mobile Team. These teams travel from place to place working on various building, renovation and maintenance jobs.
MMM International Alliance is a faith mission depending on God’s abundant, wise and creative provision. MMM provides its project assistance free of charge in most cases so that the groups being helped are not distracted from their core purpose. Usually the organisation being assisted by MMM provides the building materials and accommodation for the work teams.
Financial provision for MMM comes largely through individuals, churches, businesses and sometimes by donations from the groups which have been helped by MMM. These funds are used to cover operating and capital development costs of the work.
Each Member Centre is unique within the MMM International Alliance in the way that it carries out its ministry. For example, Zambia has a Vocational Training Centre and Australia has established a commercial building company called MMM Build Pty Ltd—a commercial company providing building and design services to Christian Churches and Organisations throughout Australia. A wholly owned subsidiary company of MMM Australia, MMM Build was created to assist MMM Australia’s mission. MMM Build’s website has more detailed MMM Build information: http://www.mmmbuild.org.au
You can make Donations to the MMM International Alliance Office and / or any of the individual member centres - Australia (which has oversight of Thailand), New Zealand (which includes Fiji), Zambia, Hong Kong and South Africa.
Bequests. Bequests are a special way in which people can bless the ministry of MMM, through their Last Will and Testament.
Sponsorship. You may like to sponsor a student at the Vocational Training Centre in Zambia or a team member who is joining an MMM project.
Donation of building materials & equipment… check with your local Member Centre before you empty your storehouse!
If you would like to know more about how you can help MMM financially please contact the MMM International Director, Ross Henson or your local MMM Member Centre.
